Quote of the week
"Out of 100 men, one will read the Bible, the other 99 will read the Christian."
— D.L. Moody
Scripture of the week
1 Peter 2:15–17 (ESV)
15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. 16 Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. 17 Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.

Best things we read/watched last week
Dan Winkler’s recent sermon on Philippians 1:20-23 at the MSOP Lectureship is a must-watch/listen for preachers (and really all Christians).
Jack Wilkie has published another great article on Focus Press. This time, the focus is on the “verbal sleight of hand” present in a lot of modern discussion over truth in order to “push subjective feelings over objective facts.”
An interesting take on how the live stream has—for many—replaced in-person assembling. This is a controversial issue, but this is a needed perspective.
Social media—like everything else—should be participated with in a certain way by Christians.
